SUMMARY:2026 Labor Relations Conference | Phoenix\, AZ
DESCRIPTION:MORE INFO & REGISTER HERE \n \nPhoenix\, AZ\nHotel Valley Ho\n6850 East Main Street\, Scottsdale\, Arizona 85251\nNovember 2-4\, 2026\nWebster defines a “relationship” as the way in which two or more people or things are connected. This year’s Labor Relations Conference will focus on the connections employers have with employees\, the connections we all have with our customers\, and the legal\, regulatory\, and contractual frameworks that define how all of these connections are interrelated and interdependent. With a wide range of presentations aimed at improving our foundational understanding of these frameworks\, conference sessions will help attendees navigate the increasingly complicated web of relationships we all have with one another in our varying roles within the industry. \nPresentations will be provided by NECA leadership from around the country\, as well as special guests NECA President Mark Walter\, NECA CEO David Long\, NECA COO James Fagan\, IBEW International President Kenny Cooper\, and Rosendin’s Vice President and General Counsel Carrie MacIntosh. Topics will include the CIR; labor law and history; grievances; negotiations; non-standard IBEW agreements; direct-hire recruiting and the referral system; the labor relations process and climate in your region; collaborative leadership; hyperscale and its effect on labor in your market; pressing labor issues of the day; and preventing problems by cultivating strong personal relationships.

SUMMARY:Membership Meeting: Limited Energy Outlook - Jeff Beavers (NECA National)
DESCRIPTION:Power Hour Roundtable 3-4pm: An informal\, open-discussion session held one hour before our Membership Meeting. This is not a presentation…it’s a conversation. Enjoy an open bar\, open dialogue\, and the opportunity to connect with industry peers\, exchange perspectives\, and learn from one another in a relaxed setting. Facilitated by Laurie Calzada\, this session will focus on leadership and culture\, including: \n\nStrengthening emotional intelligence to improve communication\, collaboration\, and team performance\nBuilding a culture of accountability and engagement\nLeading through change and uncertainty\nDeveloping leaders at every level of the organization\n\nAll members are welcome. \nMembership Meeting 4:30pm | Jeff Beavers (NECA) \n \n  \nWire\, Maintain\, Secure: The New Electrical Contractor Playbook \nThe buildings you’ve already wired are your next revenue stream. Most contractors aren’t collecting. \nYou’ll leave with a practical scorecard\, a four-phase implementation roadmap\, and three actions you can start this quarter. \nCommercial and industrial facilities are getting more connected\, more regulated\, and more dependent on qualified electrical contractors — not just to build\, but to maintain\, monitor\, and certify. The contractors who make that shift will own the best work in this market. The ones who don’t will compete on price for whoever’s left. \nThis session breaks down four forces that are redrawing the competitive landscape right now: \nRecurring revenue is real and available. Service agreements and preventive maintenance contracts generate higher margins and longer customer relationships than project work. The capability gap between contractors who have built this and those who haven’t is closing fast. \nData changes the conversation. IoT monitoring\, predictive analytics\, and digital reporting let you deliver value between projects — and charge for it. Contractors who can show measurable outcomes between site visits don’t get rebid. They get renewed. \nNFPA 70B 2023 is not a recommendation anymore. The revision turns electrical equipment maintenance into a documented compliance obligation. Facility managers have to do it. Only qualified contractors can deliver it. That’s a protected revenue category — if you have the credentials. \nCyber posture is the new EMR score. The same way a bad safety record locks you out of bids\, an undocumented cybersecurity posture is now disqualifying you from connected facilities\, enterprise campuses\, and OT environments — often before you know you’re being evaluated. \nRegistrations as of 9/1/2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrandon Vatterott\nADL Communications\n\n\nLonnie D Somers\nADL Communications\n\n\nTom Prade\nAmerican Electric & Data\n\n\nJanice Maitland\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nJesse Thurber\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nJoe Young\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nJohn Lembeck\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nJon Brown\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nKristen Law\nArchKey Solutions\n\n\nPaige Brogan\nArchkey Solutions\n\n\nTim Culleton\nArchkey Solutions\n\n\nTom Broderick\nAuthorized Electric\n\n\nJerry Dorhauer\, Sr.\nBell Electrical Contractors\n\n\nMarion Hayes\nBRK Electrical\n\n\nJason Burris\nBurris Electric\n\n\nBecky Austermann\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nDavid Gralike\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nGrant Gralike\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nJacob Wieneke\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nMark Riley\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nMike Seger\nGuarantee Electrical Company\n\n\nMel Snyder\nHanenkamp Electric\n\n\nTerry Brogan\nHonorary Member\n\n\nBradley Bathe\nJ Bathe Electric Co\n\n\nMelanie Ilgenfritz\nJ Bathe Electric Co\n\n\nCourtney Lumpkins\nJ West Electric\n\n\nSabrina Westfall\nJ West Electric\n\n\nChad Boeving\nJ.F. SUMMARY:Train the Trainer Course - Field Leadership Essentials (2 days)
DESCRIPTION:This is a 2-Day Course offered FREE to St Louis Chapter Members. There will be a $250 no show fee. \nEmbassy Suites by Hilton St. Charles (connected to St. Charles Convention Center) \n2 Convention Center Plaza\nSt. Charles\, 63303  United States \n7:45am Breakfast \n8am Training Begins \n12pm Lunch \n5pm Training Ends \n*IMPORTANT: This is a TRAIN-THE-TRAINER course. Attendees will learn how to teach the class\, not attend the class itself. CAREFULLY READ THIS DESCRIPTION–>Train the Trainer (Field Leadership) Syllabus St Louis and Instructor Bio’s \nWhy You Should Send One or More Team Members to Train the Trainer Course (Field Leadership)\n1. Multiply Your Training Impact: Instead of sending field leaders to training one at a time\, this program equips your team to deliver NECA’s Field Leadership Essentials Course in-house. One trained facilitator can help develop dozens of current and future field leaders within your company.\n2. Strengthen Your Leadership Pipeline: The electrical industry needs strong field leaders now more than ever. This program provides trainers with the tools and confidence to teach the leadership\, communication\, and people-management skills that help foremen and emerging leaders succeed.\n3. Position Your Company as an Industry Leader: Contractors who invest in developing their people stand out. By training your own facilitators\, your company demonstrates a commitment to workforce development\, leadership excellence\, and the future of our industry. You’ll also help expand leadership training opportunities throughout our chapter and the broader NECA community.\n4. Build Internal Training Capacity: Many contractors rely on a small number of people to train and develop employees. Sending multiple team members creates a deeper bench of capable instructors who can support workforce development\, succession planning\, and long-term growth.\n5. Gain Hands-On Facilitation Experience: This isn’t a sit-and-listen class. Participants will practice presenting portions of the course\, receive coaching from experienced instructors\, and leave with the confidence and competence to facilitate the program locally.\nBonus: Develop Future NECA Leaders – Many of today’s most influential industry leaders began by sharing their knowledge and investing in others. This program provides an opportunity for your team members to grow as educators\, mentors\, and advocates for the electrical industry while increasing their visibility and involvement within NECA.\nWe only have space for 25 participants to bring this valuable program to our chapter. If your company is committed to developing the next generation of field leaders and wants to play a role in shaping the future of NECA and our industry consider sending one or more team members to become certified facilitators. \n(The St. Louis Chapter is hosting the Foreman/Field Leadership Training Course on Oct. 20\, 2026 and you can register HERE to attend that course) \nEmbassy Suites by Hilton St. Charles | 2 Convention Center Plaza | St. Charles\, MO  63303 (Augusta Room) \n\nThis training is being held at the Embassy Suites connected to the St. Charles Convention Center.
