The Management Development Committee presents a six-part course “Leading with Success” starting on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, that will be conducted from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Following are course details:

The Leading with Success workshop covers the following modules:
- Module 1: Using Situational Leadership to Lead the Team
- Module 2: Communication and Beyond
- Module 3: Coaching for High Performance
- Module 4: Conducting Meaningful Performance Reviews
- Module 5: Using Behavioral Interviewing to Hire High Performers
- Module 6: Delegation and Empowerment
Goals of the Leading With Success Program
- Build leadership teams through working together through all the aspects that make a strong team.
- Strengthen individual leadership skills through engaging and thought-provoking presentations, exercises, and
interactions. - Provide long-lasting strategies and easy-to-use tools that have been developed from decades of experience
working with businesses in North America and Europe.
Who from your company should attend?
Given the goals of the Leading with Success program, the ideal attendees from your company would include individuals who are in leadership roles or have potential for leadership growth. These individuals will benefit most from the program’s emphasis on teambuilding, skill development, and practical tools. Consider inviting:
- Current Leaders
- Department Heads and Supervisors: To enhance their ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Executive Team Members: To ensure alignment in leadership strategies across the organization.
- Emerging Leaders
- High-Potential Employees: Those identified as future leaders who could benefit from structured leadership development.
- Human Resources Team
- HR personnel involved in coaching, hiring, and performance management, as they can apply the strategies and tools directly to workforce development.
- Cross-Functional Representatives
- Employees from different departments to encourage collaboration and the sharing of diverse perspectives during the sessions.
Considerations
Ensure attendees are open to applying new strategies and have a role where the tools and insights from this workshop can be practically implemented.
- Workshop Course: $1,500 per attendee (NECA is subsidizing $1,000 and Member Company is only responsible for remaining $500 fee per attendee). Your company will be invoiced $500 per participant after completion of the workshop. Email karen@stlneca.org to utilize your Member Incentive Reimbursement after the course is completed.
- Capacity is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
- Registration closes Thursday Feb 5th.
- Attendees must attend the first day of class to remain enrolled in this course. Member Company will be charged remaining $1,000 if attendee is removed from course.
- Attendees must attend 5 out of 6 classes to receive subsidizing from NECA. If more than 1 class is missed, the Member Company will be charged the remaining $1,000.
Facilitator
Laurie Calzada with Sharp Approach
Laurie Calzada is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and media host with more than 30 years of experience. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she has successfully founded or co-founded eight different companies over the past 30 years, both in the US and Europe. She remains a board member of numerous corporations and non-profit organizations. She has hosted a monthly TV Talk Show and has written, trained, and presented on many key topics.
Her focus is to motivate and inspire those who have a desire to excel, and she is a believer that you and your team can accomplish anything with enough ambition and determination. Her career has allowed her to consult, train, and present for hundreds of Fortune 1,000 organizations. Her message is about understanding, accepting, encouraging, and empowering people…personally and professionally…with the goal of helping others achieve high levels of success in business and in life.
