Safety

The inherent nature of work in the electrical industry poses significant hazards to the safety of the workforce.  Safety begins with the culture of each company.  Some of the larger contractors have their own Safety team which develops the culture and sets the expectations for work performed.  However, not every company has a full-time safety team.

As such, St. Louis Chapter, NECA has created a partnership with National Safety Consulting to make safety resources available to all members. A few of those benefits include quarterly training, 24/7 access to the NECA Safety Hotline, eight (8) hours of safety consulting for each member per year, and four (4) hours of emergency response in the event of an OSHA visit, incident, or injury.  Equally, National Safety Consulting provides additional services to members on a discounted basis, including creation of a personalized safety manual with training for employees, OSHA citation consultations, and arc flash training to name a few. At NECA, we work hard to ensure our members are the safest electrical contractors in the industry.
